Marianne loved being part of SchoolsFirst team and served all her 3 years tenure at the Anaheim
branch. The Anaheim team says they are going to miss her laughter, jokes and the way she would
playfully "tease" the team each day. She was a very strong woman on the outside yet very soft
hearted on the inside.

Marianne is survived by her husband and sister. Our thoughts and prayers are with them and all of
you who were close to her.

I met Marianne 3 years ago when she first began her career with SchoolsFirst at the Anaheim branch. Not to long after that she took my place at the Anaheim branch as I moved on to another branch. I will always remember the fun we had and her laughter.

She will truly be missed. My heart goes out to her husband John, family, friends and co-workers.

Marianne had a joy to life and a determined spirit. Though I first found her intimidating, this past year I have experienced great pleasure and friendship with her as my immediate supervisor. I keep remembering the last project we worked on together and how helpful and thorough she was. Her laugh and enthusiasm made her truly special to those who knew her. We will miss you Marianne. Thank you for investing in me. May you find peace and rest for your soul.

I worked with Marianne for the last three years, but our relationship took on a new level the last 12 months. I'm very grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from her and I will miss her dearly. I'm going to miss her laughter, her colorful sense of humor, and the way she would precede her sentences with "Hey, Ern" every time she had a question for me. She left a big void in our lives and I will treasure her memory. My sympathies go out to her husband and sister, and I pray that her family and friends find comfort and strength in each other.

I had the pleasure of working with Marianne on a new Service training certification through the credit union. I noted that she had quite a presence in the class through her thoughtful contributions and laughter. Everything she offered was relevant and pertinent to the subject matter. I thought to myself, "what a great leader she must be at the Anaheim branch." How sad I never made the opportunity to tell her this.

My heart goes out to her husband, family, friends and close co-workers. I know she will be dearly missed. God bless you.

A Roaring Spirit

Marianne has always been a good friend to me. She has a nurturing soul and a roaring spirit. I admired her ability to communicate her thoughts and her willingness to put things into action. Her and John welcomed us into her home and offered whatever they had selflessly. Though the time she spent with us was very short, the impact she made will continue for many years to come.

Thank you Marianne for all that you did. You will never be forgotten. Condolences to your family and friends.

My wings are spread, my pain is gone-Do grieve for me-but not for long.
For wondrous peace surrounds my flight-I’m gliding towards that ray of light.
So grieve for me but not for long-Remember blessings not the wrong.
My life was full and so complete-Although the end was bittersweet.
You brightened up my everyday…By things you’d do, by things you’d say.
I’ll miss my life with you on Earth, but know you gave my life it’s worth.
I’m gliding towards a perfect place-No pain or sorrow, only grace.
My wings are spread, I’m soaring strong…Do grieve for me, but not for long.
